Want to know an easy way to help our military veterans? Order some of our VeteranAid postcards to hand Help us Spread Awareness of the Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefit; VeteranAid.orgout to your clients at your business or organization today!

VeteranAid.org is a website that was designed to inform veterans and their spouses of a little known pension benefit called Aid and Attendance (A&A). Every bit of information and assistance we provide on the VeteranAid website is completely FREE. On our website you will find a detailed page on eligibility and how to apply for Aid and Attendance, a FAQ section, and our forums where veterans and their family members can come to seek advice, success stories, and get help from the forum administrators if they have questions pertaining to their application.

The Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension provides benefits that reduce the cost of care for veterans and surviving spouses who require assisted living. The problem is only about 5% of those eligible for this benefit claim the funds available to them because they are not aware it is there. We are trying to change that.

The A&A Pension can provide up to $1,788 per month to a veteran, $1,149 per month to a surviving spouse, or $2,120 per month to a couple. A Veteran filing with a Sick Spouse is eligible for up to $1,406 per month.

We want to spread awareness of this pension benefit so we can increase that 5% to something more along the lines of 50%, or even 100%. In order to increase the number of veterans and families who utilize this little known benefit, VeteranAid.org has made it our mission to spread awareness in many ways, including our We Salute Veterans campaign that gives businesses and organizations who support our nation's veterans the chance to add our badge to their website. The VeteranAid postcards are another example of our efforts to draw attention to this benefit that so many of our veterans deserve for serving our country.

So why is VeteranAid.org a completely free service to all? First of all, our nations veterans deserve to get this information they need to obtain a benefit that can help them pay for care in their senior years. There are also, unfortunately, companies out there that try to charge veterans for help with the Aid and Attendance application or offer financial planning services like moving their assets around into different accounts in order to be financially eligible for the benefit. These businesses have been known to charge a fee for these "restructuring services". If a business tries to charge a veteran or their family members for help with applying for the Aid and Attendance benefit, it is not only illegal but wrong. Our veterans deserve better.

Please help VeteranAid.org in our efforts to increase the number of veterans applying for the A&A pension.

We have postcards that have been given to a few businesses already (namely assisted living homes, veterans’ centers, and senior centers). Some requests are for use of our postcards and VeteranAid poster for veteran resource fairs. We would be honored if you would like to order some postcards from us to share to your clients as well? We can mail them to you free of charge!

I wanted to request postcards to spread awareness for Aid and Attendance but the order form didn't appear. What information do you need? Thank you! Gisele

    Hello Brie,

Yes, this is a completely free program and we never charge veterans or their family members for any of the services we provide. It would be best if you wanted to donate to a great veteran's cause if you donated to another one besides our own. Perhaps to your local veteran's services? Maybe they have some local services that help with homelessness?
