Does the VA extend any aid to the wife of a veteran. If a wife requires extended care for dementia, etc --is thee any VA coverage???

The spouse is not entitled to anything while the veteran is living but the veteran can use the cost of her care to reduce their countable income. This could qualify him for a pension. Keep in mind that a veteran doesn't have to be in an 'assisted care facility' or 'nursing home' to qualify for 'AA'. He just have to have a need of some assistance with basic daily activities.
