Is the Aid and Attendance pension affected by any addition health claims you may make with your health insurance company? More specifically, If your primary doctor decides and recommends that you need additional physical or medical assistance at home and you are already receiving A&A pension for that reason, will this adversely affect your benefits??

If you are already receiving the pension, no additional claims to your insurance company has no impact. If you are receiving A&A but are not at the highest award amount, and your care expenses have increased, you can notify the VA and have them recalculate expenses for a higher award. Again that is providing you are not already at the top of the award amount.
