Hello. Last year my father was awarded A&A at a rate approximately $200 below the maximum benefit. I submitted additional expenses (prescriptions, Medical Insurance,etc.) in November, on his behalf. If the VA determines that he is entitled to be reimbursed for his additional expenses, would his monthly benefit increase accordingly? Or is he just reimbursed with a one time payment? Also, is there any way to track the progress of their decision on the expenses? I check ebenefits often but have not seen anything new that might suggest that they are making progress on it.
