Our Vet has had full aid & attendance pension for 3 years. He entered hospice today therefore is no longer paying his income to home care givers for personal care. What happens to his A&A? Does it all stop? Or does just the A&A portion stop?

He needs help eating and the family is hiring someone for that and for shopping for the foods he prefers and can get down.

If he is still paying for care at the hospice then the A&A benefit can go towards those costs. What he needs to do is send a Statement in Support of Claim form 21-4138 explaining his new situation and show the updated expenses.
