Hi, My client's mother will be receiving a retro active payment since her A&A benefit has been approved. My client is her fiduciary for A&A. A friend who has been through this process with his family said that the payment cannot be put into her normal bank account that a special account will have to be set up in her name with me as the fiduciary. Has anyone else had this experience? Thanks, Janice
Janice, This is true, and the VA should be giving instructions on how to set up the account if she has been through the Fiduciary process already.
