I have looked at every option setting in my Profile but I can not tell how to geet the forum page displays to start with the most current (newest) topics. For example, I need to select Page 4 of the General Discussion forum to see this thread but on Page 1 there are threads from March 2007. What do I need to change? Thank you.

This is something that we are working on. In the meantime, you can quickly sort topics by clicking on the Last Post column to sort by age. It currently sorts first to last, but clicking on that column header will resort it last to first.

Hopefully, we will have this worked out shortly so that the lastest posts will always show first.

Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Thank you!

    Brian (and everyone):

We have fixed this issue with the boards. From this point forward, when you enter a board, such as General Discussion, the posts will list automatically from last to first. That is, the most recent posts will show on the first page. "Sticky" posts, such as the Basic Qualifications post in this board will always be at the top before any new postings.

Hopefully, that makes sense and you will no longer need to search for the most recent postings.

Please let us know if there are any other changes you would like to see to the forums to make your participation easier and/or better!

Thank you for the change, it makes much more sense now. The one other board-architecture specific change that I would recommend is to add a prominent & specific button for "New Topic" - the current one is a bit hard to locate for first-time users.

We have colorized the New Topic link and changed it to read "Start New Topic". This should make is stand out a bit more.

    Keep those suggestions coming!
