Hi all.. Thanks for this website and forum. I have referenced this often. FINALLY after 5 years, my 88 year old mom qualifies and receives Survivors Pension with Aid and Attendance. I got the letter last week that it will be a whopping $37.00!!! My question now is... I am a teacher that works Aug. - May. I have someone that comes to the house to take care of her for 5hrs. M-F. Since we only started this in April and now school is almost done, how to I claim the amount she/we have paid? We have paid $ 948 and only have 5 weeks left til the end of the school year. We won't need anyone daily, unless I get some time or vacation with husband. I would like to appeal the decision now since I have someone, but it's almost the end of the school year. I have exhausted all funds she has that we can. I am going to also apply for fiduciary once again since I was for my dad when he received his A&A 5 years ago..

    Thank you!
    Rosanna
