Does the requirement "claimant cannot drive a car" require documentation of a medical reason or can it be that the claimant simply does not feel safe while driving?
With advanced age and age related vision problems my driving has been significantly curtailed (self imposed) and I don't see this as improving. How would I meet this requirement? Thanks

Being able to drive is viewed by the VA as one being "independent" and able to get around without the assistance of others.

You do not have to surrender your license, but if your needs for assistance with daily living do not meet the requirements, then the driving is a non-issue as you would not meet the criteria.
