New to the VeteranAid.org Forum so please bear with me.

I am helping my mother apply for the Aid & Attendance Pension. My father served in the Army during the Korean War. Did not die as result of the War. As far as I can tell the "Application for DIC, Death Pension, and/or Accrued Benefits" form#21-534EZ does not apply. What form needs to be completed? Is there a play on words? Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Kim

    Kim,

If you are filing for the benefit of Aid and Attendance, you do use the 21-534, and you are filing for "Death Pension". DIC does not apply for your Mom.

The language used by the VA can make it very difficult to understand. If you go back to the site, you can print off all the forms required to complete the application.
