Thanks so much, for the accurate information. I feel confident that I will be able to send this claim on my own, because of this site. I am working on the aid and attendance pension, for my Mom. On her Doctor's evaluation, must the Dr. specifically state, that she requires 24/7 aid and attendance? Or if the Dr. mentions she needs help dressing, walking, cooking, and taking her medication- is this enough? Also, are there a minimum amount of payments that must be exchanged with my Mom and an at home, live in relative, caregiver?

The Dr just needs to state her physical condition and what she needs assistance with. Does not need to say 24 hours.

Glad to know the site and forums are proving helpful and that you are confident on making the application.

Best of luck to you with all of it!
