After numerous attempts to register with eBenefits to see if I could access my A&A application I discovered the site is only for veterans applying for everything but A&A. Meaning it is all service connected disability pensions, plus educational assistance for veterans.

Interesting! I have heard of others on the forums using the eBenefits for their application but I always recommend they just mail the application instead.

eBenefits is honestly a fairly broken site. If you do a paper application it will not show up in the account as a pending claim. Only claims that are filed through eBenefits ever show up or update status on. I believe that the VA is still a bit away from a truly paperless claim, plus without paper there is no backup to show that it was filed.
