The VA office near my Father helped me with form 21-527 regarding A&A
and I noticed the dates and charges that they put down were not accurate in
34 a.  I also wanted to know since we just started this process and have not been approved yet.  For the checks that we paid out already for a caretaker, will they ask for copies of these checks and will they ask for social security #'s of caretakers that you  paid  in the past 12 months and for the ones you will pay for in the future?

Thank you

You can do a  Statement in Support of Claim making the corrections so there is an accurate accounting, especially if there were costs that didnt' get counted.

Yes, keep copies of the checks already paid out and no they will not ask for SS#s for the caregivers.  Payments to them will be their responsibiltiy for their taxes how they claim their income.

Always pay by check or bank draft so there is no disputing the payment and keep a copy of everything as it relates to any medical cost.
