do you have to use a veterans home care service,or can you keep the check and pay the attendant yourself instead of sending the check to veterans home care to pay the attendant and charge large fees... Huh

you do not have to use a veterans home care service. you can use any service you want. if the vet is already getting pension with aa, then you can use any person to be the care provider. just be sure that you report any changes to VA.
