I learned early in life there are no stupid questions, make no assumptions   Grin

Is the monthly Medicare Premium and Supplemental Insurance a Medical Deduction for Vet benefit purposes???

Can there be more than one caregiver....such as one person to cook, laundry & clean and another person for personal hygiene & meds ??

yes and yes, however, if you report more than 1 care giver then report each expense separetly, dont lump it together on your 8416

ie
purpose      amt pd     date pd                             provider        for whom paid

caregiver    $3000    01-01-09 to 12-31-09            Rosie Smith   self
caregiver    $2000    01-01-09 to 12-31-09            John Doe      self
private ins   $1000   01-01-09 to 12-31-09             BCBS           self

dont leave spaces blank. if your not sure how to report the expense in question, post your question on the board here or call the VA toll free and usually someone can help you.
