Hello all, new poster here.  Getting ready to send off the paperwork for my father as he is now in assisted living.  We are both in Florida but I saw a post of some new processing centers that I may use.  Specifically this one:

Philadelphia Pension Maintenance Center
Veterans Administration
5000 Wissahickon Avenue
Philadelphia, PA 19101

Processes allocations for residents of the following states: VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, and PR

What are your opinions of mailing out of state rather than going to the regional office in St Pete?

BTW this site has helped me more in one night then talking to the people at the VA all month Smiley

You can send to either one, but these locations have been set up to help expedite applications.  As a word of insight for you, the Tampa-Clearwater office is rated among the worse offenders in the country for applications not being processed in a timely manner.

I feel like a broken record saying this, but make certain you retain a complete copy of the application and send the packet "Registered Return Receipt".

Glad you found us and we've been able to help.

Good Luck!
