Hi
My sister found this website a few days ago and sent me the link.  I did call the local Veteran's Service Office here in Cambridge, MA and spoke with a very nice gentleman. He told me that my Mom wouldn't qualify because she wasn't receiving a pension from the VA,
my Dad saw active service during WW2.  I was just wondering if this was right or if I misunderstood the whole A&A act.
Thanks for any info you can give me.
Tom

Tom,

The information provided to you by the SO is INCORRECT!!  Your mother does not to be receiving anything from the VA in order to be eligible for the pension.  You need to speak with someone else and look at the criteria for the pension on our main site.
