I applied for Aid & Attendance for my father-in-law on April 28, 2008 with the help of this website and submitted it to the local Veterans Office.  We received monthly notices that they were 'working on it with delays'.  On December 15, 2008, we received the letter of approval, and on Dec. 22, received the 1st check for 7 months of benefits.  This program requires a lot of work and patience, but it will be worthwhile.  Thank you for your help on this website!
