Forms Necessary
«

I am just starting this process for my mother. My father died in 1984. My mom is now totally disabled. Will we have to fill out the form SF 180? We are doing all the rest, but we have all dad's service records, so I don't know if this form is necessary.
Can anyone out there help.
thanks

SF 180 is a request for the discharge papers or dd214, since you have those, you won't need to fill this form out. Make sure the copy you submit of his discharge papers is a notarized copy.
Let the forum readers know how it goes, we are rooting for you!
