I'd like to clarify something as my brain has not yet turned on for the day. lol

In my Dad's Award letter it lists Feb. 1, 2012 as the Payment Start Date.  So does this mean that the Feb. 1, 2012 payment will be actually be deposited on March 1, 2012?

Yes.  The VA always runs 30 day out.
