Is there any benefit in contacting local Congressman to assist in getting A &A?  Waiting over 6 months for A & A for 93 year old permanently disabled widow.  Numerouse calls and Inquiries to VA call center, spoke to Supervisor at call center, faxed letter requesting expidited processing.  All to no avail.  Local Congressman requires the widow physically go to their office to complete Privacy Act Form and bring copies of entire claim submission to assist.  I will gladly do this if it is beneficial.  Have others found this helpful? Any advise?

Call your a different Senator or Congressperson TODAY!  You should not have to do anything other than request they make an inquiry on her behalf.  That's ridiculous!  No excuse for a 93-year old to be waiting.
