How to value an interest in vacation time share units

Hi:
I am helping a friend and I wanted to find out the best way to determine the value of 2 assets.  Her father has 2 interests in 2 time share vacation units in Branson Missouri at the Silverleaf Resorts.  [At this point, his medical condition would totally preclude him from even using these units--barring medical miracles.]  In one unit, the week is owned 3 ways with father-daughter-son each owning a 1/3 portion.  In the other unit, the week is co-owned with the daughter.  We called the Resort to find out the market value of the unit, but they would only give the "equity" amount that had been paid-which I have no doubt is MUCH higher than its value.  We looked on the internet, but haven't been very successful determining the market value--especially since it is only a 1/3 interest in a week, and a 1/2 interest in a week. 

Any tips on how to determine market value on these?

From the sounds of things, there is not a lot of "value" with only 1/3 for a week on two places, and think you don't need to worry about these.  If for some reason he sold them, then he would have to claim the income, but don't know that it would put such a wrinkle in things.
