What happens after 1st year on a&a

Will i have to reapply or fill out papers? Will i need all new paperwork from dr. Etc? Just want to know what to expect after first yr of getting the benefit.

No, you do not have to reapply.  Just complete the form when you receive it, and mail back in the timeframe given.

My mom's also coming up on her first year.  I'm not clear on what form we need to send in.  The VA hasn't sent anything.  Also don't know when it's due by.

I hope there won't be any gap in her pay for Feb!  Should I be taking the initiative to find the form and get it over to them asap?

The VA has to send it.  If you are concerned, call them and ask when your Mom should be getting it so that you can be on the lookout for it.

Thanks Debbie!  Is this something that comes around annually according to the date she was approved - or is it a calendar year thing that everyone gets in Jan?
