Hi There.
I am investigating the application process for A & A for my grandmother. Currently, she is at home under the care of a VNS. She was just released from the hospital and will be going to rehab for strengthening. However,  her physical state and dementia is leading to the strong probability that she will be admitted to there  for long term care. My grandfather passed away in 2008 and I am wondering if A & A would provide additional funding for her to have extra care at home. He served in WWII. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Kelli,

I would suggest you go back and read through the site on eligibility, and to help educate you on this pension.  All the information is there and don't miss the FAQ section.  If after going through the site you still have questions, then post questions here.

You also need to determine what her "countable" income is.  you can find a quick reference to that here on the forums under the Tips and Resouces tab.
