Unofficial approval

Talked to Phil. VA (I called) and was told A & A was approved on Nov. 7.  Here is my timeline - sent packet on Sept. 1, had to resend another death certificate showing cause of death - received Sept. 26.  So basically the corrected completed packet was 9/26.  I guess we are about 5 weeks to completion.  Hopefully the check will go in for December.  He did tell me the letter will be sent to me in Louisiana, although Mom (91) is in FL.  She lives in ASL Memory Care so sending her anything official doesn't make much sense. I'll keep you posted on any other news.
