I was notified verbally that my dad was awarded AA and to expect a check next month. For my dad's comfort level, I currently have family caring for my dad. My questions are as follows:
a). Do I need to provide them with a 1099?
b). One of the caretakers is in his early 70's and receives social security. I've been paying him $300 per month to provide companionship. Will the $300.00/mo lower his social security payments?
