I Aited untill Feburary 7th for the evr forms from the va to arrive and when they did not called the pension hotline and asked them when I should get them and if they had been mailed.

I was told " oh the computer probably just did not spit them out ..go to the website and get them.

I said not I would prefer you sent the forms since I dont know exactly which form out of the ones online to use and would like the right ones. They mailed forms and I took them and all needed infor to VSO at local office we filled them out and he faxed them to the Va.

On the 25 I recieve the ones she should have recieved originally and they are not the same as either the ones they mailed or the one the VSO used ...when I called and aske him what to do he sadi fill the ones you just got out amd mail them because they have a barcode and one line asking for future estimated medical expense for 2011 ....well the problem is they did not arrive untill the Feb 26 and they expect them back by March 1st a 2 day time frame in which to return them and no way it can be done ...benifits will be discontinued because of this accourding to the evr form and now what?

I know exactly why they did not arrive in time as I discovered they had her address wrong on the evr form and and expect that they sent them to that address and when they were returned remailed them to this address

They had a enclosed the original evr which had the wrong address in a plain white sheet of paper with her correct address and go figure the wrong name  and remailed them Im sure.

Is there any way I can use fed ex to send these to the pension center instead of through the us post office?

Yes, you can FedEx it overnight.  That will give you all the tracking and proof of delivery you need.  Get it out Monday!

You do not want to deal with getting this all straightened out!!

Whoever opens it will date stamp it, so you should be ok without putting anything on the front.  Just keep the tracking number, so if there is any push back from them, you can prove it was received within the alloted time.

Ok I got it off priority overnight then called the penison hot line to ask what they recommend I do ...lol they said I should fax it to them? And when I asked if they had recieved the one I did fax 2 weeks ago they have no record of recieving that one so that is not happening.

I called the Local VSO officer and asked him about it he said the March first date is when they would have stopped benifits but If they recieve the evr by the 15th they would have keyed it in and restarted benifits ....Im not so sure sometimes just how accurate he is one some things lol he actually told me I had wasted my money by fedexing it and regular mail was just as fast....?

Anyway It is off and I will track it will see how it goes.
